6 Saving Tips

Today’s post is all about how to be a responsible spender, so if that’s a problem for you, just keep reading to find out the 6 best ways to manage your money as a teen!

It doesn’t matter if the money you have comes from pocket money, birthday gifts or even a part-time job, what’s really important is to know how to make the most of it while still saving.

1- Defining priorities: In order to save money you got to be very picky about the things you need to buy. You’ll probably find out that most of your “necessities” aren’t that important.

2- Making a monthly wishlist: By writing down all the things you really want to buy alongside with its costs will prevent you from buying it all and choosing 1 or 2 items instead.

3- Getting a piggy bank: That’s an old buy gold method for saving. When you get home feed your piggy bank with the coins that are bouncing in your pockets. That way you might have enough to buy a little treat for yourself at the end of the month.

4- Bring food from home: That way if you get hungry at school you won’t need to spend every penny on anything at a café.

5- Make a list of your spendings:This will help you control the amount of money spend. Also, try to reduce your spendings each month. By challenging yourself you’ll forcedly save more.

6- Do some research: Before buying, when you feel tempted to purchase something you wanted for a long time, look it up and try to find who’s selling it cheaper, and if it still doesn’t fit your budget wait until it’s on sale!

I really hope this post was useful! Please comment below any extra tips you have in mind and good savings!
